The Great Gelling

A uniquely special friend of mine who recently passed away, said "I think there will be a time when I look back on my life and see it as the "Great Gelling." When she said that she was 86 years old, living in a large nursing facility and a delight to most everyone who met her, that is unless she was a pain the ass. She was also extremely wise, realizing that everything she thought and did created the tapestry of who she was and the world around her. Every single moment of our lives can be a great gelling if...and there's the crux of the matter...IF we choose to say yes to it. Think about the first time you ever made a bowl of Jello. What would have happened if you chose not to put it in the refrigerator, but just left it sitting out on the counter in your kitchen?
